Therapy for Digital Nomads & Remote Workers

Online therapy for digital nomads and remote workers facing loneliness, identity burnout and belonging whilst living abroad.

Living and working around the world can look exciting from the outside, but the reality of digital nomad life can sometimes feel isolating, ungrounded or emotionally exhausting. Therapy offers a consistent space to reflect, process change and reconnect with yourself wherever you are in the world.

The Reality of Digital Nomad Life

Digital nomad life often promises freedom, flexibility and adventure. Many remote workers relocate to places like Bali, Bangkok, Mexico City, Lisbon or Dubai, building routines around coworking spaces, cafes and expat communities. Yet, constant movement can bring unexpected emotional challenges.

You might notice:

  • loneliness despite meeting lots of new people

  • difficulty maintaining relationships

  • feeling rootless or disconnected

  • burnout from working whilst travelling

  • loss of identity or direction

  • anxiety about the future

  • emotional fatigue from repeated transitions

These experiences are common amongst remote workers and digital nomads, and they are not a sign that something is wrong with you. They are often a natural response to living between cultures, communities and identities.

Online therapy allows you to have consistent psychological support whilst living abroad. Whether you're moving between countries or staying in one place for a while, therapy can provide continuity and stability.

I offer online counselling and psychotherapy for English-speaking clients worldwide, with sessions designed to fit around different time zones and remote work schedules.

Common areas we may explore include:

  • loneliness whilst living abroad

  • adjustment to digital nomad life

  • anxiety and uncertainty

  • burnout from remote work

  • identity and belonging

  • relationships and distance

  • existential questions about purpose and direction

A Therapist Who Understands Life Abroad

Before becoming a therapist, I spent time living abroad and understand the rhythms of expat and digital nomad life, coworking spaces, temporary communities, and the strange mixture of freedom and instability that comes with constant movement.

I've experienced the excitement of building a life in a new place, as well as the quieter challenges: rebuilding routines, maintaining relationships across time zones and navigating questions about belonging and identity.

This perspective informs my therapy practice and helps me connect with clients, who are living internationally or working remotely. Therapy can become one of the few stable, reflective spaces in a lifestyle defined by change.

How Therapy Can Help

Grounded Whilst Living Globally

Therapy isn't about stopping your travels or changing your lifestyle. Instead, it offers a space to understand your experiences more deeply and develop emotional resilience whilst continuing to live intentionally.

My clients often find therapy helps them:

  • feel less along whilst living abroad

  • build emotional stability during transitions

  • clarity identity and direction

  • manage anxiety and burnout

  • maintain meaningful relationships

  • create a sense of grounding wherever they are

Over time, therapy can help digital nomads feel more at home in themselves, even when home keeps changing.

Sessions take place online via video call

  • 60-minute sessions

  • £40 / $55 (USD) per session

  • flexible scheduling across time zones

  • confidential and professional support

  • free initial consultation available

I work with clients across the UK, Europe, Asia and the Americas.
